Private Events, Bereavements, and Weddings
Mediterraneo has built a solid reputation based on the perfect combination of outstanding cuisine and impeccable service in a fresh, energetic and stylish package. Such qualities also shine through in each of the hundreds of private functions that Mediterraneo hosts throughout the year.
Exclusive use of our private room is available and will be accordingly with purchase from our Buffet or Prix Fixe menu. Smaller groups may secure exclusive use of this room with or without catering by paying a special room fee. Sorry, not available on Saturday nights. A reservation may be canceled up to 30 days prior to the function date and will be reimbursed 50% of the deposit amount in the form of gift certificates or credit toward a future reservation. Cancellations within 29 days of the reservation date will forfeit the entire deposit.
Please submit a final guarantee count 48 hours prior to the event. We will charge a ''no-show'' fee of $30.00 for Dinner, $20.00 for Lunch and $25.00 for Brunch plus gratuity for every person missing from the final guarantee. We will be prepared to set up and serve five people over the final guarantee.

MENU SELECTION:
(ALL MENU SELECTIONS MUST BE FINALIZED 14 DAYS IN ADVANCE)
- Parties of 20 to 45 may order from the Prix Fixe menu only
- Parties of 45 to 75 may order from either the Prix Fixe or Buffet menus
- Parties of more than 75 may order from the Buffet menu only.
DEPOSIT
A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required when booking event. This deposit will be deducted from the final bill.
CANCELLATION
A reservation may be canceled up to 30 days prior to the function date and will be reimbursed 50% of the deposit amount in the form of gift certificates or credit toward a future reservation. Cancellations within 29 days of the reservation date will forfeit the entire deposit.
PAYMENT
Payment in full is required at the completion of your event. Final payment may be made in cash or credit card. All food and beverage items are subject to a 20% service charge. All prices are subject to Rhode Island sales tax of 7% and Rhode Island Food & Beverage tax of 1% . Prices are subject to change.
GUARANTEE DUE DATE

STIPULATIONS
All functions will be placed on a four-hour schedule. If additional time is requested, based on availability, a fee of $200 per hour will be charged. Mediterraneo must provide all food and all non-alcoholic and alcohol beverages. In accordance with Rhode Island state law, alcoholic beverages may not be brought in or removed from the premises. Mediterraneo complies with all Rhode Island state laws in regard to responsible service of alcohol.
SERVICES AND FEES
A bartender is provided for a fee of $150.00 during the duration of the event. Based on the guarantee count, there is a $2 charge per guest for valet parking services. There is a $1 charge per guest for cutting and service of any cake not provided by Mediterraneo. The services of a professional disc jockey and our state-of-the-art lighting and sound system are available for an additional fee.
ENTERTAINMENT
Mediterraneo must receive prior notification and approve all entertainment scheduled to perform in our function room. Any and all decorations must meet with Rhode Island Fire Code.
